For your convenience, we accept direct payment from your insurance benefits provider.

If your dental plan does not cover the full cost of your treatment, you will be responsible for any difference between the amount paid by your plan and the amount charged. Your portion is due and payable at the time of your appointment. We accept debit, Visa and Mastercard. We do not accept personal cheques.

Understanding your Benefits

We strongly suggest knowing all your essential information BEFORE your appointment. Unfortunately, your employer/insurance benefits provider does not communicate with our dental office, so it is your responsibility to provide all necessary information and to inform us of any changes to your personal and/or insurance information.

Due to privacy restrictions, you are responsible to know and monitor your own plan's coverage and maximums. Our office does not have access to any specifics of your plan including basic coverage, maximums, policy years, pre-authorizations, etc.

We understand that it can be overwhelming calling an insurance company and knowing the right questions to ask. Click the link for a document that will tell you what questions you should ask about your dental coverage. When you get this information, please send us a copy so we can update your file accordingly.

Pre-Authorization

We can send information about your treatment to your benefits provider prior to your appointment to confirm how much will be covered.  Pre-authorization information is sent back to the patient however, not to the clinic. We will let you know when we have sent off the information and to look for a response in the mail or electronically. Please keep an eye out for this information. When you receive the preauthorization back from your benefits provider, please call us at the clinic to let us know and bring that information with you to your appointment. We can review it with you to help you understand your coverage.
