Finding joy and appreciation in the little things
2021 has flown by, and we wanted the opportunity to share with you all some of the highlights from the clinic this year, and talk about what’s coming in 2022. Before we get to that, we want to take a minute to thank all the front-line workers for their resilience, and support during this unprecedented time. It’s been another tough year dealing with the pandemic and associated challenges throughout our community, however we are hopeful for a better tomorrow, and our entire team at the clinic has been working tirelessly to ensure the safety of our patients.
Another year battling COVID-19
Our community and those around the globe still faced many uncertainties relating to the pandemic. Frontline workers across the country continue to be tested by the challenges associated with COVID-19. Our clinic goes beyond the guidelines of what the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan requires, to ensure our patients, and staff are safe and protected (you can read more in our blog). The release of the vaccines, and our communities doing their part by getting vaccinated has helped curve the cases. We continue to see eligibility open up for our young communities and are hopeful that many will be able to be triple vaccinated in the coming months.
Our Staff
We have an amazing team at the clinic, and Dr. Shire and I are appreciative of the dedication, work ethic and care that our team shows our patients each and every day. In 2021 we welcomed some new faces to the team! We have a new receptionist (Jenni), and a new hygienist (Novee). Make sure you say to both of our new team members when you are in the clinic next!

Celebrating together
Being able to spend time together, and finding ways to build culture amongst our team is very important at the clinic. One of the highlights this year was Halloween! As you are well aware Our staff love our annual pumpkin carving contest, and this year was another successful year! Check out the pic below.

We were also happy to share with our community our invention blog series, which was written to help educate the community on some of the exciting areas of the dental industry while focusing on innovation. 2022 brings some exciting new developments and opportunities for the clinic
We are excited to share that we will be adding some additional support staff, and we will have some more exciting news to share about the clinic! We will keep you all updated on this.
